  Dear Jay Cee, pets friendly means they will accept pet with deposits no matter in whichever unit you will be living in. But they told me that I cannot have my dog living with me since they do not have a unit with a yard/balcony available. Im pretty sure the regulations that they told people are different everytime (after I asked few other tenants)... If your dog has a doctor's note then he/she is a service dog and should be accepted at anywhere including grocery stores/restaurants by law. A pets friendly apartments shouldn't have this as a requirement and pets deposit/monthly fee is very common but weren't even offered to me.

  This apartment isn't pets friendly as they said on their site. You can only own pets (max 2) if u have the unit that has a backyard.
